Bowman Gray Campus Orientation Supplement

The Graduate School's new student orientation is scheduled for Tuesday, August 4th, through Friday, August 7th. Please refer to the attached draft of the Orientation Agenda for an updated schedule of activities. There is also a required Bioethics mini-session scheduled for the week of August 10th though the 14th. Additional activities and/or sessions required by your program will be made available during the academic advisement period scheduled at 10:15 AM.

Orientation will be held in the Graduate School's Classroom, Room 1064 located on the 1st floor of the Hanes Building. Parking will be made available in the student lot on Lockland Avenue, and the overflow lot located on Beach Street. ** Gates to both parking lots will be raised by 8:00 AM to give you ample time to park and locate the meeting room. ** Please refer to the attached maps for the locations of the parking lots, and the instructional sheet which will give you directions for accessing the building and the location of the classroom.

arrowInternational Students:
Newly arrived international students should report to the Graduate School as soon as possible after arriving in the United States. The Registrar, Ms. Susan Pierce, will meet with each of you, and you will receive a letter which should be taken to the Social Security Administrative office when making application for your Social Security Number.
