Survive & Thrive Guide

The GSA has composed the GSA Survive and Thrive Guide, for our Graduate Students in an effort to help smooth the transition into graduate school, and Winston-Salem in general. We urge Graduate Program Directors to supply this document directly to all possible recruits and current students. We believe access to the GSA website and this document will provide answers to many of the common questions asked by new students therefore easing their transition. The GSA SNTG is a wealth of information on topics which are pertinent to both new and current Wake Forest graduate students:

arrow Moving to Winston-Salem?
     • Information on where to find housing lists
     • Local Utility Companies' phone numbers
     • DMV Office Information

arrow WFU Information
     • Where's the library?
     • Where's "the other campus" and how do I get there?

arrow I HAVE TO GET OUT OF THE LIBRARY!
     • GSA events
     • Local Parks
     • Exercise Facilities

arrow What's happening around town this weekend?
     • Links to local newspapers, live music, art exhibits

. . . . . . AND MUCH, MUCH MORE!
