CareNet Counseling Services
We are happy to announce the availability of a new and long-requested health-related benefit for our graduate students; namely, counseling services. Effective immediately, you are being provided with two free visits per year to the CareNet Counselors located at 403 S. Hawthorne Road. This will mean that Bowman Gray students have ready access to counseling services such as those previously available through the Counseling Center for the Reynolda students. Follow up visits can be arranged, as needed, as part of your United HealthCare Student Resources health plan or other health insurance plan.
We have brochures describing the full range of services available that you may pick up from the front desk in our Graduate School office (1st floor, Watlington Hall). To schedule an appointment or get more information, please call the intake number (716-0855). It is important that you identify yourself as a graduate student using the Student Assistance Program. A counselor will return your call and arrange the meeting time. Also, if you would like, you may contact Dr. Laurel Link, regional director of CareNet, directly (716-0854) to arrange a convenient time for her to speak to you about these services.
