The Graduate School's Research Day
The Graduate Student and Postdoc Research Day brings together students, postdocs and faculty from programs and departments across all schools and colleges of Wake Forest University. In recent years, over 115 student posters have been presented. We hope that even more students and their faculty mentors will participate this year so as to display the full range of impressive work being done by graduate students and postdoctoral fellows at Wake Forest University (WFU). Several cash prizes will be awarded for best posters in several categories.
This years event will be held on Thursday, March 21, 2013. Information on the submission process and deadlines will be available soon.
Form of the Submission
Students must be the primary producer of the work being presented. Posters that have already been presented at conferences are welcome.
Students should complete the submission form (pdf form-fill document) and return it to the Graduate School office by email (email@example.com) no later than Thursday, December 13, 2012 at 5:00 pm.
It should be noted that these abstract submission forms will be made into a booklet which will be handed out at the Research Day, and will be posted on the Graduate School website. If students have concerns regarding copyright or patent issues, they should consult their advisors. Unless we are informed otherwise, the full title and abstract will be printed.
The presentation must be in the form of a poster and no larger than 60 x 40 inches. Easels, foam-board backing boards, and pins will be provided for setting up the poster. Participants should arrive between 12:00 - 12:30 PM to ensure their poster is ready for viewing by 1:00 pm.
There is ample, free parking available at Bridger Field House in the lot immediately in front of the building.
