Hooding & Commencement Ceremony
This is the primary celebration and recognition for our graduates!
The Hooding Ceremony will be held on Saturday, May 17, 2025 at 4:00 pm in Wait Chapel. Reception to follow the ceremony in the Green Room, Reynolda Hall.
Tickets and parking passes are not required for this event. However, campus will be busy, so please plan accordingly and leave plenty of time to find parking.
Regalia must be ordered by March 28th for all ceremony participants.
Family and Guests:
- Please limit 6 guests per graduate
- Please limit the number of items you bring; a clear bag policy will be in place.
- Restrooms will be available in Wait Chapel and executive portable restrooms will also be available.
- Campus Navigation: We ask that all students and guests please use the Reynolda Road and Polo Road entrances to campus (please do not use the University Parkway entrance).
- Parking: Parking passes are not needed and guests attending events Friday through Sunday are welcome to park in any open lots on campus. Lots Q and Lot W1 will be open for general parking and are centrally located for those attending events in Wait Chapel.
