The Our Way Forward website will transition to a page that directs community members to relevant COVID-19 information on the websites of appropriate campus departments.
Wake Forest’s COVID-19 Notice and remaining relevant policies will be available on policy.wfu.edu.
Wake Forest will carefully monitor emerging public health guidance to determine any additional boosters and influenza vaccine requirements for the 2022-23 academic year.
Masks remain an effective option to mitigate risks to personal health. At times, the University may temporarily require masks in certain areas to mitigate the risk from clusters of positive cases.
For Students
All students will continue to be required to provide proof of vaccination and a single booster. Deacon Health Service will coordinate future communication and administrative tracking of vaccine compliance.
New students should submit COVID-19 vaccination and booster documentation by July 1 through the Health and Immunization Form as with all other required vaccinations.
We will continue to maintain appropriate space for isolation and quarantine.
Questions about COVID-19 should be directed to Deacon Health Service. If you test positive for COVID-19, you should first notify Wake Forest BestHealth at wfuwellness@wakehealth.edu or call 743-223-4217.

Following public health guidance, and with respect to the low community transmission levels, we are updating our protocols as follows, effective immediately: – Social distancing requirements and limitations on gathering sizes are lifted. – Masks are optional for fully vaccinated individuals, except in settings noted below*. – Individuals who are not fully vaccinated against COVID-19 are expected to wear masks indoors when in the presence of others. *Regardless of vaccination status, masks will be required in the Deacon Health Service, for some activities in the fitness center, and in vehicles used for public transportation based on CDC recommendations and federal requirements for those settings. Please adhere to posted signs.” Read the complete message here: ourwayforward.wfu.edu/2021/06/important-covid-19-updates.
