Application Fee
The application fee is payable by credit card. Payment of the application fee is required in order to submit an application and is required with each application for admission you submit. Payment instructions are located at the end of the application process. The submission of your application will not be complete until this fee is paid.
Application fees are non-refundable and non-transferrable.
We do not currently offer fee waivers for international applicants. Application fee waiver requests are available for certain groups of domestic applicants. If you believe you qualify for an application fee waiver, please email gradadmissions@wfu.edu indicating why you meet one of the 3 criteria listed below:
After you submit your application fee waiver via email, it will be reviewed by the Graduate School. If your fee waiver request is approved, the application will be processed, and no further action is needed. If denied, you will be notified by email and the application will not be processed until the application fee is received. Fee waiver requests must be received before the deadline for any application to be considered. After you have submitted your fee waiver request, please allow several days for your request to be reviewed by The Graduate School. We will send additional information, including status updates, via email.
- Full-time permanent employees of Wake Forest University who are eligible for tuition concession.
- Active duty or veteran military personnel
- U.S. citizens who meet the following need-based eligibility have received need-based financial aid in the current/most recent term of enrollment. To qualify for a need-based fee waiver, please provide a verification letter on letterhead signed by your current institution’s financial aid office to be considered. If you are unable to obtain a letter from your current institution’s financial aid office, please send official financial aid award statements from the current/most recent term of enrollment.
We are happy to consider your waiver request once you have sent the required documentation showing that you meet the criteria described above. You may be contacted by the Graduate School Admissions Office for additional information.
This is a fee waiver process and not a fee payment reimbursement process. Once the application fee is paid, a waiver or reimbursement is no longer an option.
